The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that every child have an orthodontic evaluation no later than 7 years of age. Early findings and treatment offers the advantage of correcting anomalies on time that otherwise can hinder the normal development of a child’s bite.

Orthodontia evaluation looks into patience’s habits or conditions that include the following:

  1. Tongue thrusting
  2. Thumb sucking
  3. Snoring and mouth breathing
  4. Abnormal bite
  5. Irregular or gap spaces among teeth – evident at eye site or diagnosed through X rays.
